George Lowndes

Privacy policy

Last updated 17 September 2026

This policy covers "Stonepond Claude", a private tool operated by George Lowndes. It connects George's own Google accounts to an AI assistant on his own computer. It is not offered to the public, and only accounts George owns or administers are authorised to use it.

What the tool accesses

With the account owner's consent, given on Google's sign-in screen, the tool can read Gmail messages and calendar events, and create email drafts. It cannot send email or change calendar events.

How the information is used

Information is used only to help the account owner with their own email and calendar: finding messages, summarising meetings and preparing drafts for the owner to review. It is processed by an AI assistant (Claude, provided by Anthropic) at the owner's direction.

Information is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with anyone else.

Storage

Sign-in tokens are stored on the owner's computer. The tool keeps no separate copy of email or calendar content.

Google API Services

The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Removing access

Access can be revoked at any time from Google Account permissions.
